Fenrir was the son of Loki and Angboda, born in the shape of a wolf. He appeared in three episodes of Twilight of the Gods.
Biography[]

Thor arrives at the birth of Hel.
Fenrir was the child of Loki Laufeyson and the giantess Angboda. At the birth of his sister, Hel, Loki invited him to come meet her, but Thor arrived to cast her into the nether. As Loki was forbidden to lay with giants, his family was punished. His other sister, Jörmungandr, was cast out to sea, while he, in the form of a wolf, was kept as a pet for the Aesir.[1]

Loki visits Fenrir.
By the time Fenrir was fully grown, Odin kept him bound in magic chains deep beneath Asgard. Enormous he was, yet hidden away. Odin had seen his future as if through a fog, and it ended at the hand of Fenrir, so he kept the wolf locked up. Fenrir's family was able to visit him, where they plotted to kill Thor and Odin to prevent the deaths of Fenrir and Jörmungandr.[2]

Fenrir at Ragnarök.
When Odin sacrificed his past for his future, giving his memory for foresight, he witnessed his own end with no fog, seeing clearly Fenrir as he towered over the mountains. It would one day come to pass that Fenrir would kill Odin at Ragnarök.[3]
