Humans were the dominant race of the mortal realm, populating many lands with villages and kingdoms. They appeared in all episodes of Twilight of the Gods.

Clan Völsung defends their land from foreign invaders.
Social beings, humans worked together to establish communities to live in harmony with their extended kin. Whether in competition for resources or for other reasons, communities would occasionally come into conflict with one another. Clan Völsung was one of these communities that both attacked and defended against attacks from other communities.[1]
Sigrid recruits the five fingers.
After the massacre at Sigrid's wedding, she recruited a small group of humans to go to war with the gods.[2]
