The land of the Völsungs was where Clan Völsung lived. It appeared in the first two episodes of Twilight of the Gods, "The Bride-Price" and "Heretic Spear."
Events[]
Battle with foreign invaders: When foreign swords came for Völsung land, Prince Leif led their army to defend it. Many lives were lost, but it was here that Leif met Sigrid and the two fell in love.[1]
Recruiting the five fingers: After Sigrid's wedding left her entire clan slaughtered by Thor Odinson, Sigrid returned to Völsung land to recruit Hervor and Egill to join her quest for revenge.[2]

Leif's home: Leif had a home in his village. It was unassuming, like any other, and overlooked the sea over a cliff. It was here that he gave Sigrid the throne he'd made for her and asked her to marry him.[3]
Leif and Sigrid's home: To build a life in marriage with Sigrid, Leif built a new home for them to share. It was still incomplete when they left for Jötunheim to get married.
Hervor's home: Hervor lived in a large, coastal house on the outskirts of the village. Sigrid visited Hervor before leaving for her homeland, then returned to recruit her in her mission of vengeance.
Jorg's home: One of the houses in the village was Jorg's, where he lived with his children, Marja and Bjorn. Jorg caught Egill in bed with his children and chased him around town.[4]
Gorm's grave: Leif's father was buried at the top of a hill, his sword marking the spot. Leif visited the site to speak with his father, taking the sword as a marriage gift for Sigrid.
